High-end cell phone frames are generally manufactured by CNC machining of aluminum plate, as the support of the cell phone components, has a very high size and flatness requirements. If the flatness of the aluminum substrate is not accurate enough, it will lead to scrap after CNC machining, resulting in a double waste of time and money.
In the past, the flatness of aluminum plate was inspected by manual plug ruler or three coordinates, due to low efficiency, high cost and only sampling inspection, which can no longer meet the current production line beat requirements.
High-efficiency, high-precision full inspection on the line is an alternative solution that is urgently needed in the industry.

Atometrics Professional Solutions
Atometrics uses a "template matching tool" to extract the center point of the 2D grayscale contour image to create an xy coordinate system that ensures adaptive measurement for automated batch inspection of products.
The software is equipped with "tilt compensation" algorithm, which can automatically compensate for tilt to get the actual value, and the repeated measurement accuracy is ≤±0.01mm.

Built-in "flatness measurement tool" allows you to customize the measurement area for high-precision flatness measurement. Measurement results are consistent with CMM measurement results.
Up to 10KHz scanning rate, detecting more than 20,000 pieces per day.
